Civil Engineering

Site Plan – Provides the location of any proposed or existing structures on the lot and the information necessary to construct site improvements such as parking lots, driveways, pools, and ponds.

Drainage Plan – Provides the information necessary to install the drainage system.

Grading Plan – Provides the information necessary to perform site preparation using elevations.

Drainage Plan – Provides the information necessary to install the drainage system.

Erosion Control / Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan – Provides the information needed to protect the site against erosion, contain debris, and prevent pollution.

Tree Preservation Plan – Locates and identifies the existing trees that will be preserved during site preparation.

Soil Compaction Testing – A soil test that is conducted to determine the soil’s state of compaction.

Structural Engineering

Framing Plan – Provides the size, construction, location, and connection details of framing members. The framing members can be made of wood, steel, reinforced concrete, or masonry blocks.

Foundation Plan – Provides the information necessary to construct the foundation using conventionally reinforced concrete and concrete masonry units (CMU).

Pile Plan – Provides the information necessary to install piles under the foundation. Piles can be made of wood, steel, or reinforced concrete.

Structural Report – An inspection and report which is primarily focused on the foundation and framing of a structure.

Mobile Home Foundation Certification – An inspection and certification of the mobile home foundation.

 

Miscellaneous

Permit Inspection Letter – A 3rd party inspection and letter of compliance for a construction project at key milestones.

Plan Review – A review of another party’s construction documents. (only available on residential projects)

As-Built Drafting – A drawing of an existing structure.

Project Management – Order materials, schedule labor, and coordinate inspections in an effort to complete projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with the acceptance criteria.

Quantity Takeoff / Estimate – An estimation of the cost to construct a structure and/or site improvements.

Building Energy Study – A study of the total energy consumption of a structure and the associated costs of operation.
